When we built our new house in 1984, there was only one logical solution to our hot water needs. With three growing young adults we opted for a Solahart 300L for the extra capacity.

This year 2010, we have just replaced that system with another, and of course after 26 years of trouble free service, why wouldn’t we buy another Solahart. The only thing we had to do in all those years was to replace the anode.

The service we received from Solahart in Hervey Bay was second to none. Our initial contact with Casey was a pure delight; she has such a bubbly personality and was very helpful. The boys came out the next day and checked our old system: at no charge I might add. They said our old system might last for another 12 months. It was time for a replacement.

The day after we ordered our new Solahart 302L, the crew arrived at 8.00 AM and whoosh the old system disappeared and our new system was in place by 9.30 AM. The service from the boys was fantastic and so professional. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

That day it was partly cloudy but by lunch time, just over two hours later, the water from the new Solahart was warm enough to shower with. By mid afternoon the water was too hot to hold your hand under the tap. The new system was working better than the old one.

Hot water free from the sun; how true and how practical.
